With our audio-guided tour, we’d like to take you on a journey through time, exploring the history of the castle and its residents.
The audio tour starts at the market square or at the Kleppertor and on the way up to the castle it tells a lot about the castle’s architectural history, the former Liegemen’s Settlement, the defenses and the castle church. Then it’s off to the Princely Family Museum, which houses numerous exciting exhibits as the family’s treasury. The two likeable narrator voices tell the stories of the numerous halberds, guns, seals, coins, medals and uniforms, clothes, glasses and porcelain services – in German, English and Spanish!
